Callprint was established in 1992. Its founders, Terry Rutter, Alan Cheek and Norman Krangel previously held executive roles in major UK reprographic companies, with combined experience exceeding 120 years.
Callprint has grown both organically and by acquisition to its current size of nineteen branches with more than 200 employees. The company manning structure ensures cover can be provided at all levels to meet any emergency.
From the outset Callprint’s main objective was to be a quality-led reprographic service provider. With this in mind the company devoted itself solely to the reprographic trade, and in particular the AEC market. It has always employed a programme of continued investment into new equipment and machinery, aiming to be market leaders in the new technologies being introduced to the industry. To achieve this, it invests heavily in research and development and is proud to have introduced new processes and software such as Pagemaster Apprentice (now Océ Reprodesk) into the UK.
Callprint is wholly owned by Copy House Ltd whose turnover is in excess of £15,000,000. Its shareholders are the directors of Callprint.
Callprint is the only member of ReproMAX outside North America. All of its members are committed to the sharing of information and to development. Using the ReproMAX network the company is able to send electronic data and print locally within every state of the USA and, through its associations, within most areas of the world.
