Customation
Callprint Group are pleased to announce the formation of a joint venture company,
Customation Limited, that specialises in helping organisations develop and deliver
automated, customised and personalised, marketing communications. The new company has been created
to meet the demand for an integrated outsourced service that can provide a full range of
capabilities, from the design of a completely new web based enquiry system with automated print and
emedia responses, to the conversion of an existing system to respond on demand with personalised,
customised content.
Initially focusing on the public sector, and in particular the education market, where the response to student enquiries to Colleges and Universities offers an ideal application, Customation has assembled an experienced team with expertise in marketing communication, creative design, content layout, personalisation, web design and development, and print management.
The way it works is that all the content that is needed to respond to any website enquirer is put into an electronic content warehouse and a system of rules constructed to respond. When the enquirer registers their contact details and chooses the information he/she would like, the relevant components are selected within the electronic warehouse according to the rules defined and a print file (or PDF for download) that contains personalised information selected by the enquirer and some generic content common to all enquiries is generated.
At the end of each day the print file that contains the output from all enquirers is digitally printed and fulfilled so that each enquirer receives a personalised booklet that includes their requested information within 24-48 hrs.
Web pages that mirror the printed information and provide links to other parts of the organisation’s website can also be created.
Customation uses XMPie application software from Xerox to create the customised content.
Founder Directors Graham Peace of Callprint and James King from The Conscious Brand commented:
All organisations continuously search for improvement in the effectiveness of their marketing communications and the Customation approach offers significant benefits over the traditional bulk printing of generic collateral with the associated storage costs and wastage. Building a positive relationship with your prospects and customers while simultaneously reducing your carbon footprint must be an attractive proposition to everyone.
