Let’s get your exhibition stand out there this summer. Whether it’s a stall at a summer fare, a food cart at a festival or a pop-up on your local high street, now’s a great time to start thinking about how you can push the boat out.
As exhibition stands specialists, we’re always asked to share our ideas on how businesses can really make their stand, stand out. So we’ve put together just a few ways you can supercharge your stand this summer.
1) Space is sacrosanct
Small or large, space by itself isn’t a determining factor in whether you attract guests or not. It’s what you do with it what counts.
If you’re working with a limited amount of room, it’s never a good idea to try and squeeze every last product you have into it. It will end up looking messy and unkempt. It’s better to go to the event with a plan in place. It could be to promote a new product, a special offer, or just to let people know about your company. Keep things simple and smile. The more welcoming you are, the more people will come. Fact!
Larger space? We’ll look at what you can do in tip 2.
2) Create a talking point
Who creates the most noise at an event? Nine times out of ten, it’s the exhibitors putting their products into action. So why aren’t you doing the same? If you’ve got a fair amount of room to work in, consider ditching the old, boring stand for a creative stage. Show off your products, tell everyone why they’re the best, and maybe let them join in too.
Who doesn’t like free stuff? It might sound odd, but giving away your product is a tried and tested route to engaging existing customers and creating new ones. Make sure that whatever you’re giving away will leave a positive message with guests. It could be a goody bag with your business name and number. An invitation to try out your products further. Even branded stationary. Whatever you choose, ensure it’s a product that customers will want to keep by their side. Hello, faithful pen.
