Our work with Surrey County Cricket Club
Surrey County Cricket Club is one of 18 professional county clubs which make up the English and Welsh domestic cricket structure, representing the historic county of Surrey.
Design and produce a membership pack for Surrey County Cricket Club. It should be aimed at 3 18 year olds, with 50% of this demographic being between 13 and 18 years old. The client requested ideas and suggestions for the content of the pack along with full creative concepts, campaign imagery and packaging solutions. The pack needed to come within budgets of previous years but have a perceived value, with more features and benefits.
- Within Royal Mail guidelines for large letter saves on postage costs compared to small parcel. Encourages vital interaction between players and young fans via autograph book. Users also interact with fixtures elements and Bowled Over game throughout season creating important touch points for club for continued use throughout the season.
- Based on 2creation’s content suggestions the pack will inspire their young audience to make fitness and nutritional choices with specific sections covering this.
- Refer a friend incentives and a pack that creates a talking point and generates interest from peers will encourage increased membership uptake for future seasons.
- 2creation and Callprint work together to create a streamlined process where the final product, budgets and parameters are always considered right from the very start.
- Effective, eye catching and modern campaign imagery was developed from client supplied player photographs.
- Added value to pack by adding personalised print, and applied effective cost saving measures in other areas to still bring this within budget.
- Packaging and self contained solution delivers a considered and well thought out presentation pack that was deliberately kept within Royal Mail’s large letter restrictions. Printing the small card game box digitally with a viewing window to the large outer sleeve allowed digital print to be used for personalisation.
- Created identity for new card game concept to communicate heritage with facts of players past and present and encourage interaction.
